Spyros Vangelakis is a photographer and graphic artist who publishes brochures, maps and albums of the region of Epirus.

He has lived and worked in a variety of locations both in Greece and abroad where he gained the necessary professional experience.

His work is concerned mainly with Epirus and the Ionian in an effort to accentuate and promote the physical beauty of the area in a distinctive style.

He has cooperated with several Greek magazines and newspapers, such as "TA NEA" and "Hellenic Panorama".

His work has been published in many others like the Italian 'Camper and Caravan' and 'Panorama Travel'.

DISTINCTIONS

The pamphlet produced for the Ioannina Prefecture was awarded as the best Greek-language tourist publication 2002-2003 by G.N.T.O (Greek National Tourist Organisation)

The Tourist Guide of Parga, produced on behalf of the Scandinavian tourist office 'Apollo', was voted as the company's best international publication.

His photograph of Rome's Fontana di Trevi appears in the brochure of the Italian Ministry for Tourism.
